Helping others- The Spring of Happiness

It is difficult to find someone who help or guide us when we face difficulty, but we can lend our helping hand for the people who really need our help. Tzu Chi Foundation is a place where we can help people from other country with just a little help. The volunteers there are so willing to do for charity, because they believe the more they served, the more peaceful they become. It is a place where you can enhance ourselves spritually and find our purpose in life through serving others. There are numerous categories of Tzu-Chi: Recycling, Home Visits, Community, Documenting etc.This joy through helping others, regardless of who would encounter all kinds of difficulties. We can make this world a better place!

Storyboard

What a busy week! Almost end of the semester, I suddenly become a Vampire. Never sleep but just concentrate on my group or individual assignment.  We have use a few weeks to discuss and share the idea to our groupmate, brainstorming, doing research for the final assignment of Drawing II. The product we chosen was 'Doublemint', due to the rule we change the name to 'Doublefresh'. We found out this idea was quite funny and creative

This is the Storyline:
Scene 1 : Sky above the jungle
1. Under hot sun, three birds are almost dying with thirst.
2. The birds flying down where a black bear walking.
Scene 2: Jungle
3. The black bear is searching for the water while a hunter is searching for a deer.
4. The hunter drinks water from his water bottle.
5. The bear attracts to the hunter’s water bottle.
6. The bear runs toward the hunter.
7. The hunter is frightened.
8. The hunter tries to escape from the bear. ( screaming VO : AHHHH! )
9. The bear is disappointed because there is no water inside the bottle.
10. Suddenly, the bear finds a Doublefresh on the ground with a curious face.
11. Close-up to the Doublefresh.
12. The bear puts the Doublefresh into its mouth.
13. Suddenly, the bear feels refresh.
14. The bear floats to the sky.
Scene 3: Sky
15. When the bear in the sky, the bear transform into polar bear.
( VO : I feel fresh ) ( Its fur change from black to white)
~ Animated scene : Introduce the product
16. Superimpose “Doublefresh” & Slogan
Finally, it's done quite well. :D

Running man

Running Man, Koreas’ number 1 Sunday variety program for more than 2 years, a variety show that I watched every week. I admit that I was their fan since they are started, for almost 2 and a half year

Running Man members are exactly at that stage. They have reached their peak and they have nowhere to go. Not that they are doing bad, it’s just that they are doing the same thing every week which makes things predictable:

• Lee Kwang Soo (LKS) will "disturb" Kimg Jong Kook (KJK)
• KJK will exert his physical strength
• The Monday Couple (MC) will have some sort of moment
• Ji Suk Jin (JSJ) will be the weakest link
• Song Ji Hyo will always get the advantage of being a woman

These things are compounded because they are put in the same situation every week. It is always a "race" so you know when the above mentioned things are going to happen.

Characters are also in their transition stage:

In games:

• YJS is the leader
• Haha is the schemer
• LKS is the betrayer
• KJK is the strongest
• KG is the unexpected hero
• SJH is the brains
• JSJ is the weakest

In comedy:

• YJS is the initiator
• Haha is YJS’ second in command
• KG is the witty one
• KJK is YJS’ match
• JSJ recently showed body gags
• LKS is wild one
• SJH is not fun, sometime xD

Anyway, I will support them until the last episode! (they should not end).I heard that they are coming to Malaysia, feeling excited! hope to see them!

Photography

What 'Photography' means to me? For my opinion, this is the another way to write down the memories of us. It have been such a long time we didn't print the photos and put into an album after 'Digital' came out. Nowadays, I think everyone of us including me will choose to post on facebook rather than print out the photo just because it is costless. However, because of this course I'm glad to have chance to see the valuable photos in hardcopy again. :)

  

The images shown below are few of my favorite photos throughout this semester of photography lesson.

This is a photography technique called 'Rule of Third' in composition. 

The sunflower is the main focus point in this photo and its composition is slightly to the right, 

so it looks beautiful as a whole.

 This is bridge which place in Putrajaya. This technique called as 'Triangle'. The triangle shape cannot be seen too obvious, you should find an angle to shoot the photo which can form a triangle composition.  

This photo seems like a scene before 'James Bond' movie started. 

We called this technique called as 'Frame with Frame'. 

It's taken in a playground, i guess you know what is it. :)

This is so called 'Panning' effect. 

The photo looks quite simple but it was really hard to shoot it correctly.

For this kind of effect, you have to shoot it again and again to make sure the main object is clear. To shoot  more quality photos, definitely you have to use continuous shot, if not it will take you forever to take a quality one.

Hidden Illustration

This is my idea for "Hidden Illustration" (One of the assignment in Drawing II). Kobe Bryant is my idol, his performance in every basketball match is extremely well. That's why I used Kobe Bryant's face as the character of this artwork. choose both of the pictures which are in the same direction, maybe it can create some kind of effect or aesthetic feeling when it combine together.

Mission Accomplish! Although you can see his face obviously :'D

"Point of Purchase" Design

Last week I have created my POP(Point of Purchase) Design for 'Creative Communication Design' & This are the procedure for my POP Design. 


This is the reference and my idea for POP Design. The theme i want to share is 'Valentine's Day'.I use 'Vector' or normally we called as 'Toilet signboard' to produce my design. This idea was suddenly pop out from my mind and i think it was quite unique and interesting. 



This is the MOCK UP for my POP Design~
Look a little bit weird on the middle..because i used normal paper to stick on the foam board, and the picture is printed by my own printer, therefore the quality was not that good, by the way it is stable as it can stand :D

AND..This is my final result ! :D

It is more colourful and more stable than my previous Mock Up design.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied for the result i made :D

Minion Rush Game- Despicable Me2

Minion ? Again? 

Previously, I've really been getting into mobile gaming with Subway Surf, running with friends and my most recent time passer which is the new game Despicable Me Minion Rush!

The game is a never ending running game similar to the old classic Temple Run which seems to be a popular genre of game growing more and more every day! The game has been released on the back of the hit film which has released last 3 weeks ago and my friend and I dying to go watch it after playing this it looks so funny!

Your basically a small minion running through the streets trying to get as far as you possibly can making sure you don't hit any objects or obstacles that get in your way all while collecting bananas for more points! The further you run and the more bananas you manage to collect the more points you will earn which you can then submit and compare against your facebook's friends which makes it a bit more addictive.

The film itself looks really funny and they transferred some of that fun over into the game so you can pick up cute little costumes also while your running. It's definitely worth to try out! Highly recommended!
